His ability to connect with the residents as well as get inside their mind is very strong. Aleks understands the trials and trouble of the drug culture which gives him an exceptional insight as to where our young men are coming from. He has a big Christ-like heart and builds very good relationships with everybody. Aleks sees the big picture which is a vital asset when working with residents and families. Aleks became a student of mine in 2003 and I had the honor of watching him grow in immeasurable ways during those two years. I have often said that he grew more than any other student I have worked with. He also was in the top five percent in talent. In this time of growth, I learned about Aleks. He is a humble yet strong young man. He has a desire to grow and learn more about himself so that he can learn to help others. Aleks is a deep thinking intellectual whose emotional right brain is fully alive and he has a heart for the mission of Capstone. He is always thinking and working the task at hand or the conversation just finished. This trait allows him to reflect, learn, and grow. Aleks was raised in Berwick, PA and is the oldest of five children. Aleks enjoys the outdoors and cooking; he’s an unbelievable cook. He attended Harding University where he received his Bachelor’s degree and then went on to earn his Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Aleks is a Licensed Associate Counselor. Aleks and his wife April, indeed his better half, are the proud parent of Gabriel, a perfect baby boy. I am glad that Aleks and April are in the Capstone family. Aleks is trained in ropes course facilitation and is a strong asset to our team. Aleks’ favorite Scriptures are:
